Job Details
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to manage the full financial function of our rapidly expanding digital solutions company. This role requires a professional who can ensure financial compliance, provide accurate financial reporting, and contribute strategic insights that support sound business decision-making.
You will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the company, handling all daily transactions, and ensuring that our financial systems and processes are efficient, transparent, and adhere to local regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Counsel.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and manage the payroll process accurately and on schedule.
- Conduct budget preparation and financial forecasting in collaboration with the CEO.
- Ensure compliance with local tax requirements and statutory financial regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Possession of a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ZICA).
- Proven experience working with modern accounting software and financial management systems.
- Deep knowledge of Zambian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling confidential financial information.
